Plan ahead

- In other words, you must bring everything (water included) with you.
- If ferry reservation the actual length of your vehicle exceeds the reserved length by more than 5 feet, it may not be possible to honor your reservation.
Cancellations past this deadline may result in 100% forfeiture of the full payment amount, depending on the individual hotel or attraction’s refund policy. To confirm and purchase your ticket you will need to insert your data and submit the payment as last step. Reservations are required to sail on the Cape May - Lewes Ferry; book travel early to secure your spot.
Never traveled by ferry?
Remember to arrive at Long Wharf North at least 20 minutes before your ferry departure to allow time for boarding. B) For a foot passenger reservation only, we charge the actual cost of your ferry tickets at check-out, with no reservation fee. Your tickets will be ready for you at the terminal the day of travel. Reserved tickets can be picked up at the ticket office at any time after they are made, but must be picked up from the ticket office no later than 30 minutes prior to departure. Passengers who have not boarded or who are not ticketed and in line 15 minutes prior to departure may have their tickets released to standby passengers. Any reservations not claimed prior to the boat’s departure time will be considered a No Show.

Jetty Island is a jewel to all who visit its sandy beaches, a rarity in the Pacific Northwest. Visitors often speak of Jetty Island’s untouched natural beauty. With no electricity or plumbing, the only structure on the island is the seasonal floating restroom off its shores. Jetty Island is a nature preserve with juvenile salmon, waterfowl and bald eagles being just a few examples of the wildlife living on the Jetty. Continuous work is being done to improve and expand the island’s wildlife habitat. The extreme sport of kiteboarding is growing in popularity and many athletes travel from outside the area to kiteboard at Jetty Island.
Baggage carts are driven from terminals and parked on the vessel car deck to offer assistance. All Reservations must be canceled 7 days in advance of departure date to receive a refund, at which time you will be assessed a $12.85 cancelation fee per one way reservation. Cancelation within 7 days will not be eligible for a refund.
It began as a riprap jetty in the late 1800s and provided a protected harbor and navigation channel. The Port of Everett gained ownership of Jetty Island in 1929 and, with the help of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, built a new marsh of dredged river materials in 1989. The original dredged material is more than 100 years old and has been added to over time as the result of maintenance dredging of the Snohomish River Channel. The ferry sells ice, firewood, potato chips, and drinks. The sale of these items is limited to only when the ferry is docked at Sea Camp.

If you left the terminal without going through a ticket booth, you can mail a copy of your receipts (and any alternate travel receipts) to Customer Relations for consideration on a case-by-case basis. We'll do our best to get you on the next available sailing if your sailing is cancelled.
You may leave the Island on any ferry you choose, no reservation required. Please bring your printed confirmation email to the tollbooth so you can scan the bar code or ask questions. Please plan to arrive at the terminal minutes before your reserved sailing.

Schedule posted on our website supersedes any previously printed or published schedule. Any schedule changes due to weather will be posted here and on Facebook. The wearing of masks is optional, but not required, on the vessels or terminals.
